Diffidenza, debolezza, solitudine, sono i temi attorno ai quali si snoda la trama del film, storia d’una truffa con sorpresa.
E’ nelle parole della protagonista, la signora Lina, la chiave di lettura di questi 20 minuti in cui non sempre è vero ciò che accade: “ tutti chiusi, dietro porte blindate, per difendere cosa?”, è davvero questo che può metterci al riparo da truffe e inganni? Può l’isolamento e la diffidenza renderci immuni dall’essere in qualche modo vittime? O al contrario sono la vicinanza, l’amicizia e la corrispondenza d’affetti semplici e ormai perduti, come quelli ad esempio fra vicini, se non a garantirci, almeno a risarcirci del danno, qualsiasi esso sia, cui tutti prima o poi siamo esposti?
All’attento spettatore, condotto per mano attraverso vicende purtroppo quotidiane, il compito di rispondere.
Distrust, weakness, loneliness are the themes around which the plot of the film develops; the story of a swindle with a final surprise. In the words of the main character, Mrs. Lina, is the key to the reading of these 20 minutes in which everything that happens is not always true: “everyone closed behind reinforced doors, to defend what?” Is this really what we need to be safe from swindles and deceptions? Can isolation and distrust make us feel safe from being, in some ways, victims? Or, on the contrary, the closeness, the friendship and the reciprocity of simple and almost lost feelings, like -for example- the ones between neighbours, can -if not grant us- at least make up for whatever damage we are -sooner or later- exposed to? To the careful spectator, taken by hand through unfortunately daily events, the task of answering the question.
